UPDATED November 9, 2020

To CLC Office Staff, Leaders, and those who are leading classes at CLC:

Last night Governor Herbert released some new information regarding the growing cases of Covid-19 throughout the state. To attempt to help with the mandate and requests from the state for limiting meetings outside of immediate family gatherings we are going to be encouraging our life group leaders to do online classes for the rest of November and in some cases the remainder of 2020.

Here are a few examples of what is happening so far at CLC:

  *  All Sunday Services will remain the same as usual, no changes.

  *  Women’s Ministry classes will be moving online immediately

  *  Randie Olson’s Men’s Group moving online immediately

  *  Wednesday Night Classes Moving Online to Zoom – “The Chosen” for the remainder of 2020

  *  Youth Group on Sundays will move online for the next 3 weeks minimum

  *  Iglesia CLC and Pastor Elizandro will be moving online for all groups beginning immediately until after thanksgiving

  *  Love My City Food Giveaway will continue on Nov. 21st, with limited volunteers, masks, and gloves

If you wonder how this affects your group or meetings, please email me or call me as soon as possible so we can discuss your plans to help curb these issues and help CLC contribute to a healthy solution for our region. God Bless you all and thank you for your hard work and willingness to remain flexible.

UPDATED October 16, 2020

CLC Family,

Your CLC leadership has come across some information that better clarifies the mask information that has come out recently from our local governing officials. It seems that upon further review we have found that masks requirements do not apply for religious services. This means that at this time you will not be required to wear a mask at CLC when you attend service or class throughout the week.

That being said, we do ask that you continue to honor social distancing measures and such as to prevent the spread of Covid-19 if attending in person. For many of you, this may mean wearing a mask would be helpful or make you more comfortable and so we welcome that. If you are going to be in close proximity discussion with others, we recommend wearing a mask, but in service, you are not required to wear one.

We apologize for any confusion in all of this. We will address this and so much more this Sunday at church online and in person at 10 am. If you want more information, please follow the links below to a couple of official documents released by the state of Utah, that give instruction on how to conduct ourselves and the responsibilities of religious services.

Thank you for your continued support as we navigate all of this.
God Bless –

For those attending service in person, we are doing everything we can to create a safe environment and paying attention to changes. We do continue to encourage those who are at risk and others in need to stay at home and check out all we are offering online.

We want to thank you for your continued faithfulness during this tough time. If you are remaining at home, we want to let you know that we are working to improve our live stream weekly. As well as online classes, devotionals and so much more. Thanks for joining us every Sunday, for your financial support and your prayers. We couldn’t do it without you.

CLC Family,

We know some of you are struggling and we want to remind you of our food pantry that is available if you are in need, just reach out.  The ministry here at CLC will also have a lot to still accomplish, so you would be of great help to us if you would keep us in prayer and give online during this time as we will attempt to operate as normal as possible in these times.

A Couple easy ways to give;
1. TEXT the phrase CLC to 73256 and you can text give through that link.
2. Mail checks to CLC, 2352 East Highway 193, Layton UT 84040
3. Setup Bill Pay with your Banking Institution

We are so grateful for all of you and your patience during this. God Bless you and thanks for your support and prayers. Our prayers are with you as well, as you navigate all of this.

Sincerely –
